Free AI SEO Page Template: Copy, Fill, Ship
Starting from a blank page is where most SEO work stalls. This post gives you a free AI SEO template you can copy, fill in for one buyer question, and publish. It is a plain text outline, so it works in any website builder, document or AI chat.
Below you get the template, a filled in example, a prompt to have AI draft it from your notes, and a checklist to run before you publish. The wider method is in Lesson 4.3.
One page, one question. Fill every blank with something true that only you could write, then check it before you publish.
Before you fill it in
Choose one question a buyer really asks. If you do not have a list yet, collect ten from customer emails, calls and Google suggestions. Write the question in the buyer's words. That is the template's first blank.
The template
Copy everything between the lines into a document.
``` PAGE TEMPLATE
Short answer (2 sentences, answer first): [ direct answer with your real figure or range ]
Who this is for: [ one sentence describing the buyer and their situation ]
- [ what is included or how it works ]
- [ what affects the price, time or result ]
- [ a common mistake or thing to watch for ]
- [ a real example from your own work ]
Who we are (2 sentences): [ business name, place, what you do, how long ]
Next step (one only): [ call, booking link or form ]
Questions people also ask (3 short pairs): Q: [ related question ] A: [ short answer ]
A filled in example
This is an invented business for illustration. Say you run a dog grooming salon called "Fern Street Grooming" in a small town.
- Question: How often should I groom my dog?
- Short answer: Most dogs need a professional groom every [your range] weeks, depending on coat type. [Your guidance on short coated and long or curly coated dogs.] The figures are yours to supply, not facts from this example.
- Who this is for: Pet owners in town who are new to professional grooming.
- Detail 1: What a groom includes at Fern Street.
- Detail 2: What affects how often: coat, season, activity.
- Detail 3: A common mistake, such as waiting until the coat is matted.
- Detail 4: An example of a dog and a plan, with your permission and photo.
- Who we are: Fern Street Grooming is a small salon serving the town, run by the owner.
- Next step: Book a first visit.
- Title: How Often Should You Groom Your Dog? | Fern Street
Have AI draft it from your notes
Do not ask AI to write from nothing. Give it your filled in blanks. Here is a prompt to adapt:
The last line matters: it stops AI inventing facts. For more on briefing, see How to Brief AI Like a Senior Hire.
Pre publish checklist
- Heading is the questionIn the buyer's words.
- First two sentences answer itRead them alone: do they make sense?
- Every fact is trueCheck prices, places, claims, anything AI added.
- Proof is yoursAt least one real example or detail only you have.
- Tags are filled inTitle, description, image description (alt text).
- One next stepNot four.
- Visible to searchNot blocked, linked from another page, and able to appear with a snippet.
Optional: structured data
If your website builder has a setting for structured data, use it for your business details. Otherwise ask AI for a JSON-LD block (the format Google recommends) using only facts on the page, then test it with Google's Rich Results Test. Only mark up content that appears on the page. Google shows FAQ rich results only for well known, authoritative government and health sites, so do not add question markup expecting a visual change.
After you ship
Add the question to your tracking sheet and recheck in a month. In your next session, copy the template again for question two. Each new page gets quicker.
Reuse it for other formats
The same blanks work for a service page ("Question" becomes "What is [service]?"), a location page, and a short post for social media. Change the heading, keep the structure.
Common blanks people struggle with
The short answer. If you cannot answer in two sentences, you may not have a clear position. Try saying it aloud as if to a customer on the phone, then write that down. If the real answer is "it depends," name the one or two things it depends on.
The proof. If you have nothing to show yet, use your process: the steps you take, the checks you run, what you ask a client first. A true description of how you work is proof of expertise.
The next step. Choose the action that suits someone who has just read this page. For a price question, a quote request fits. For a how to question, a link to a related guide or a short call may fit better.
Versions of the template for different pages
Change only the top blank and the order of sections:
- A service page: Question: "What is [service] and who is it for?" Add a section on what happens in a first meeting.
- A local page: Question: "Who is the best [service] in [town]?" You cannot claim to be best, so answer with how to choose one, then show why you fit.
- A comparison page: Question: "[Option A] or [Option B]?" Add a small table and be fair to both.
Keep a folder of filled templates. After a few, you will notice your own phrases and examples recurring, which makes the next page faster and more consistent.
Questions people ask
Questions people ask
How long should the page be?
As long as it takes to answer clearly. Many good pages run a few hundred words, longer if the topic needs it.
Can I reuse the same template for every page?
Yes, but make each page's content genuinely different.
Do I need structured data?
A clear page with good headings matters more. Structured data helps Google understand a page but does not guarantee any special display.
